His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, was briefed today on the ongoing electricity, water, and natural gas projects in the suburb of Mehathab and its surroundings.
These projects have a combined cost of approximately AED 645 million, which will rise to 1.1 billion upon completion of all phases. Dr. Sultan received the briefing during his official visit to lay the foundation stones for various integrated projects in Mehathab.
The natural gas projects involve expanding the main network lines, installing and providing natural gas services to all plots of land in Mehathab and its vicinity, and constructing a new pumping station.
Electricity projects covers Al Shenouf power transmission station project 220/33 kV, along with a comprehensive design for the distribution network covering residential blocks and illuminating main and internal roads.
Water projects include laying internal main water lines for residential areas in Mehathab and its vicinity spanning approximately 355 km, as well as constructing a 20 million gallon underground rectangular reservoir with a pumping station.
